James C. Edwards, PhD
A teacher of Jim Eubanks, Dr. Edwards was an important influence on Jim Eubanks' goal of unifying Buddhism and American Pragmatism. He is a philosophy professor at Furman University, and teaches Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, and Twentieth Century Philosophy.

Mark Stone, PhD
Another teacher of Jim Eubanks, Mark Stone Sensei (also an instructor of Ki-Aikido) taught Jim American Philosophy (classical American pragmatism) while Jim was at Furman. Jim also had the opportunity to meditate with Stone Sensei, who is known for his disciplined approach to mindfulness.

Richard Rorty, PhD
Professor Rorty is perhaps the most important American philiosopher of our time, revitalizing American Pragmatism through his energetic and inspiring views of personal and social betterment. His work resides at the heart of the Pragmatic Buddhist perspective, and we are grateful to have received his personal endorsement of our work.

Jim Sr. and Malinda Eubanks
